Get Ready to Set Those DVRs! Tomorrow night (Wed.) at 11 PM, Comcast SportsNet kicks off another season of the BasketCases' favorite TV show, Under the Shell, a weekly, half-hour, behind-the-scenes documentary about the Terps.

Reportedly the brainchild of Maryland AD Debbie Yow, Under the Shell eschews the typical format of a coach's show to bring viewers a truly "all access" look at the Maryland team. You get to be an eyewitness to locker room pre-game pep talks by Coach Frese, follow the team through some of its practice sessions, enjoy in-depth player interviews, game coverage, bad hair days and much much more. If you haven't seen it before, you've definitely missed out on some great reality TV! But it's not too late --- you can still watch last season's episodes online on the Terps' web site. Even if you have seen it before, it's actually pretty amazing to go back and watch some of them again. In last season's premiere, for example . . . not even two minutes into the show, players and Coach B are already talking about how they plan to win a National Championship. OK, true confession time --- back when that show aired, the BasketCases, hearing that, chuckled a little, thinking, "Isn't it nice that the team sets such high but unrealistic (or so we thought) goals for themselves?" Hmmm . . . guess the team had the last laugh on us! So, if you have seen it before, then we just know you've been looking forward to this season's premiere as much as we have.

Under the Shell is a must-see for all Terps fans! So get out those TIVO and DVR manuals, and make sure you record every episode . . . of course, you can actually watch the broadcast live (if, unlike the BasketCases, you're able to stay awake on a school night until 11 PM) . . . but, trust us, you'll still be glad you recorded it, so you can watch it again and again and again.

Under the Shell airs every Wednesday on Comcast Sports Net at 11 PM.
