Yes!!! Despite having a 24 point lead and making it way too close by the end, not to mention live access dying with 11 seconds or so to go, great work Mystics!! I was a little surprised to see Houts not when we were up by 24, but by only 12, but at least she got some time.
Is there a banner for finishing first in the East?
Next thing is to figure out if it's wednesday or Thursday for the game.

Can anyone find out when the Styx are returning to DC? It would be fun to have a crowd greet them at the airport.
Great job Mystics! When is the first playoff game at Verizon??? Yes, I kind of think Plank threw in the towel a little too early coupled with the fact that we missed a lot of free throws in the 4th quarter. All of a sudden, it became possible we could lose. But, in the end, we held firm. Congrats again. I can't wait for the first home game. Great team win all around. Mo is on fire right now and so is Matee. Marrisa and Lang cleaned it up on the boards. Even Sanford had a great game off the bench. Katie and Lindsey were as steady as ever.
We've already asked about flight arrival info. If/when we learn anything, we'll put it up on the blog. The team deserves a welcome!

No way did I think this season would end up as best ever in franchise history. I'm still shaking my head this was done w/o AB this season. Great job to the players, coaches, staff & owners!
Can't wait for the playoff schedule to be released.

Please call ABC sports... Ask, beg, plead with them to be at National airport at 10pm to welcome the Eastern Conference Champion Mystics. I called all stations and they were only ones to consider. 703.236.9499. Pass it on.

List the other stations numbers as well if you can. Local TV coverage of the Mystics is pitful. They give the DC United more freaking coverage. I will definitely call the station.

Last night every channel at least annouced that they had won, although in each case they were the last piece of sports talked about. But on WTOP this morning they mentioned the Mystics before the United. Wow. Channel 7 also mentioned on the 6:30 news that the Mystics were the best game in town and deserved a full arena on Wednesday.
