Sheryl Swoopes? A poster on the Rebkell WNBA message board reports that Andrea Young, President & CEO of the Comets, said on Houston radio that Swoopes, who injured her back Sunday in the Comets' win over the Lynx, did not travel with the team to Washington.

First Ford, now Swoopes...hey, that's one way to build up a great home record -- make sure one of the opponent's top players doesn't suit up.
Well, at least we'll get to see former UVa great Dawn Staley in her final go-round as a WNBA player. (Of course, we'll see her in the winter when Temple plays at GW.)
