Update on DeLisha Milton-Jones: Both The Washington Post and The Washington Times report this morning that the preliminary diagnosis on DeLisha was a knee sprain, but she will have further medical exams to determine the extent of the injury. According to Richie Adubato, "It's a big win, but it comes with a price. Now, the question is, how big will that price be?"

A friendly asylum for a couple of crazy DC-area women's basketball fans, where we share some news, some opinions, as well as a little of almost anything else that our demented minds dredge up having to do with the WNBA, the Maryland Terrapins, or any other team, player or character associated with the world of women's hoops.

The good news is that she seemed to be putting some weight on it as she was helped to the locker room. The bad news is that you could tell from her expression that she thought the injury might be a bad one.
Dee will be out min of 4 weeks and up to 8 weeks, depending on the results of today's MRI. In this compressed season, that's a LOT of games. Someone one else on the team will have to step up big. I'm just glad that Dee's Team USA hopes have not been dashed yet again.
Looks like Telane will finally get a chance to put on a uniform, and there may be another signing. I'm predicting either A. Smith (already familiar with the playbook)or Aya Traore (don't know a thing about her, but know she's been seen around the practice floor)
I saw a little of the game on MSG TV. Hopefully, Jones can bounce back she is an integral part of the team. It would be major loss. At any rate, I think the Mystics can beat NY on Wednesday. The next 3 are my concerns. Detroit, Connecticut, and Indiana are playing well. If they can beat these teams, it will show the caliber of this team especially if they are short-handed. I think they can take Conn and Indiana at home. Go Mystics!
Interesting website with a lot of resources and detailed explanations.
