Keep Smiling. Anybody who thinks yesterday's loss in Durham is reason to lose heart has a very short memory. Maryland suffered a similar defeat at the hands of the Blue Devils in Comcast last season, lost again in Durham, and then went on to win the National Championship.

There are no indications that this Terrapin team is one that stays down very long. They have the will, determination and talent to bounce back! As this morning's Washington Times reports, those two losses to Duke last year served "as catalysts in [the Terps'] beating their conference rivals in an ACC tournament semifinal and eventually, the national championship. "It's a game that will motivate us to improve to get better," Coach Frese said. "That's what I'm excited about -- to be able to come away with this game and find a lot of areas where we can improve the next time we get back for practice." The BasketCases are excited too . . . we can't wait to see the Terps back in action Friday night when they host the Wahoos.
