DC BasketCases
A friendly asylum for a couple of crazy DC-area women's basketball fans, where we share some news, some opinions, as well as a little of almost anything else that our demented minds dredge up having to do with the WNBA, the Maryland Terrapins, or any other team, player or character associated with the world of women's hoops.

Eileen and Judith,
I am very sorry for your loss.
RIP Ripley
He looks a lot like my terrier Sid ... only Sid was silver, not white. We had Sid for 15 years also. Beautiful dogs.
Sorry for your loss.
I'm so, so sorry. It is so difficult to lose a pet. We still miss Beau and Sophie even though we lost them over 3 years ago.
Please take care of yourselves and try to remember all of the good times you had together.
And -- this is such a great picture! Despite the immense sadness you feel, I bet you can't look at this picture and not smile!
Much love to both of you. I know Ripley is enjoying a nice big bowl of ice cream at the Rainbow Bridge right now.
So sorry for the loss of your family member. I'm sure Ripley brought joy to you both as you do to all of your faithful fans.
Take care.
Judith and Eileen, My cat Maggie has been looking for a new friend since she crossed the bridge last March. I can see them now, having a grand time and being the best of friends.
Remember all the great times with Ripley and be well. See you both soon.

Losing someone who's been in your life for that long is one of the hardest things life gives us. You both have my deepest sympathy and warmest wishes.

Dear BasketCases,
All of us here at Roxie's World are very, very sorry to hear of Ripley's passing. Ripley was a great little terrier and a fine friend of mine in the blogosphere. His comments will be missed. The moms send a special word of sympathy to you and wish you well in your time of sadness.
Safe travels, Ripley, from your pal Roxie.
Dear Eileen & Judith..I'm so sorry about Ripley..the picture of him is adorable & he looks like quite the big guy with a lot of heart & soul..You were lucky to have each other..the care & love you gave one another...remember that
Eileen and Judith, I decided to finally catch up on your website and unfortunately confirmed what Storm and I have feared for the last few weeks, that our friend Ripley had joined Rockie. We haven't seen you on your usual morning walks and now I have confirmed our worst fears. I know the terrible loss you feel and my heart and sympathy go out to you. Any time you think a Boxer hug will help just stop by and Storm will be more than willing to accommodate you.
Stormy's Mom
