More important stuff, like:
No Harding at the ASG.
I had to re-read the list of reserves a couple of times.
At least I've got AB to root for.

I'm thoroughly disappointed that the best point gaurd in the East was not even selected as a reserve for the upcomming WNBA All STAR game. Lindsey, you are an MVP in my book. Shame on those other coaches. Katie SMITH?????????????

Dang cannot believe Harding did not make it as a reserve--she deserved it. At least she will be rested up for Sunday's game! And all those votes we sent in...Harding, you are an All-Star in my book!

Whoever got to Kristen Mann--yep we all make mistakes in our youth--good learning experience for her we hope!

GO MYSTICS!

Of Note. The East All Stars now have no point guard to lead them..Way to go coaches...... As you can see, I'm not taken Lindsey's omission lightly!!!!!!!She DESERVES to be there...

No Lindsey, even as a reserve????? Even this diehard Maryland/Mystics fan knows she definitely deserved to be there!! But I'm glad in a way, so she can rest. AB is going to be working overtime- Tues & Thurs games, All star game Sat. and a game on Sunday!!!! Geez!!!

The BasketCases share everyone's disappointment that Lindsey wasn't named to the All Star reserves.

We really thought she'd earned the right to be there. :-(

I look it at like this. While it's disappointing, not to mention downright silly, that Lindsey isn't on the all-star team, she can use the time to rest, since she plays soooooo many minutes. And the anger at being snubbed can be used to get the team back on track and into the playoffs. I LOVE a player with a chip on her shoulder in "Nobody believed in me" mode.

Katie took her spot. I noticed that there is one life time achievement player from each conference: Tina and Katie. Those two have represented the league well down thru the years, but Lindsay was robbed! Plus, the East doesn't have a true point guard. Way to go East coaches.

Harding got screwed. Hell, I voted her as a starter on half my ballots before I noticed Jia Perkins.

Are you guys going to apologize for potentially jeopardizing her employment? You made a big deal out of it in your initial post, and now you're acting like it's a non-issue. Which is it?

The only person who "potentially jeopardized" Mann's employment was Mann herself with her ill-advised and insulting tweet that she posted for all the world to see. It was not a "non-issue," which is why we blogged about it in the first place. She's apologized, as she should have, and so now we can all move on.
