Must Win
Yes, we know, it's an overused cliché, and not to put too fine a point on it, but the Mystics must win tonight in Atlanta or their incredible, exciting, best-ever season is over. Period. As the teaser on the front page of the Post's sports section says, "do or die." However you put it, the stakes could not be higher.

For Mystics fans, it will be a long day as we wait for this game. In the meantime, catch up on your reading -- Kathy Orton's pre-game story in the Post is here, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution has an article about game strategy, here.
And don't forget (how could you?) that the game, which starts at 7:30pm, will be broadcast on NBA TV. If that's not an option for you, you should still be able to watch on Live Access.
Go Mystics! Must Win! Beat the Dream!

Can't wait for the games tonight and Sunday!!!
I saw a playoff sticker on the floor at the Takoma metro station. I'd love to get some of those stickers. It's the same picture as with the Silly Bandz that we got at the game on Wednesday (was hoping for thundersticks, instead pedometer and more bracelets!!).
Go Mystics!!!!
Pulllllleeeeeeease get it done tonight.
Coco didn't surprise me - I remember one game years ago where she scored something like 10 points in in the last, say, 30 seconds, but we still lost.
I can't watch. I have confidence though they can do this.
They need to Use Inception and break in and steal the Dream.
One thing and the only thing neat to see the last game was Marissa playing like I saw her play at MD. She wasn't hesitating...wasn't just settling for the outside jumper all of the time. I hope this gives her confidence to continue taking chances and driving to the basket decisively.
I know we have to encourage our team, but advertising Sunday's game on the Mystics website and in the Post is a bit like poking a bear. If I was an Atlanta fan, I would be showing my team all the plans Washington has for a game three!!! Not that professionals need a lot of motivation for playoff basketball, but....
Go Mystics-we are with you!!!
Then all Julie needs to do is show them a picture of McPouty crying after the game as if the series was over and they won.
Wow. I stood up when they were down by 4 and said I wouldn't sit down until the Mystics were winning again. Now down 22. They had better get it together over halftime!!!
Just in case they do not pull it out in the second half, I still want to go out to National and greet them. How do we find out when and where they will be coming in?
Our most current info is that the Mystics are scheduled to return to Nat'l Airport on Saturday at 11:19AM on Delta Flight 2638.

Ill be there!
