It Was A Great Ride.
The Terps' remarkable season, which included a jam-packed pre-conference schedule against tough opponents, perfection at home, and numerous record-breaking performances, ended in Spokane tonight as Maryland's high-octane offense was overpowered by Stanford's even higher-octane offense, 98-87.
It was the last college game for Lang, Harp, Jade, and Ashleigh. They leave with a Natty, and that makes them very special. Lang and Harp (and, we hope, Jade), we'll see you soon in the WNBA. Ashleigh, may you also follow your dreams.
It's been an incredible four years. Thank you for all the joy.

Thank you seniors; it was indeed a great year (actually a great 4 years) & I wish you all the best as you leave school (but not the Maryland family of which you will all always be a part).
Amen! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thanks, again, for a great ride. I wouldn't be surprised to see either Harp or Lang don the bronze, blue and black this summer.
Thanks to everyone on the team. The season was so much fun and we simply ran into a team that had multiple players have career nights at the same time. The seniors will forever be legends and part of the Maryland program. This will always be home. I will also be proud that they have each graduated.
I'm proud to be a fan of the University of Maryland women's basketball team!
Congratulations to all the Maryland players, coaches, staff, Rebounders and other fans and supporters. You cheered me up by your efforts and graciousness, win or lose. To our seniors, you are all champions!!
Thank you
FYI - Arizona hired Niya Butts as their coach today...TG, not Coach B. I was a little worried, knowing that AZ is her alma mater, so it's nice to feel relieved on this one.
There was never a snowball's chance in hell that Coach B was leaving Maryland for Arizona.

They were a really terrific group to watch. The Chicago Tribune selected the Terps uniform as the best dressed of the elite eight....
I’ll add my voice to the choir of thanks and good wishes to the Terps, especially the seniors for their tremendous careers. Before the Stanford game I had a feeling I couldn’t shake that it could be the Terps’ last hurrah -- some people have an almost supernatural awe of a well-executed triangle offense, and I am one of them. As I write this, they’re coming off a successful first half against UConn.
