A Legend Returns!
Ask any longtime Mystics fan for the short list of her all-time favorite players, and you can bet that Vicky Bullett will be on it. (And no doubt that's true of Terps fans as well.) Vicky's certainly right up there on the BasketCases' list!
Well, Vicky's back! That's right. The Mystics announced this afternoon that Vicky has been hired as one of Coach Plank's three new Assistant Coaches!! Vicky will be joined on the bench by Vanessa Nygaard, a former Stanford star (hmm, the Mystics are getting "redder" all the time!) who played for six seasons in the WNBA before entering the coaching ranks, and by Lubomyr "Luby" Lichonzcak, a longtime coach at the college level who has also worked as a scout in the WNBA for the Fever and the Lynx.
Welcome to Vanessa and Luby, and welcome back Vicky!!

This is such great news!!!! I saw it first in an email and yelled out loud, at home by myself. I hope Vicky is in charge of practices...she'll work them. I hope they keep Lang and Vicky can work with her. Now I'm really looking forward to next season. Hope we draft well also.

It will be good seeing Vicky patrolling the sidelines for the Mystics. As an earlier poster said, Vicky will, indeed, work them. They need it and need it desperately. Now if we could just get Michelle Snow here.
Yoo Hoo! I can't wait to see Vicky back on the bench for the Mystics. As you said, she is one of my all time favorite players. Sorry to see Crystal go, but wish her well. Yes, Michelle Snow would fit in very nicely here. Things just might be looking up for us after all.

I think this front office is going to do some very good things before all is said and done. I have a good feeling. Angela Taylor is spoken of very highly around the league.
