And The Magic Number Is . . . 100,000!!! That's right, folks, this Sunday, some lucky fan will walk through the doors of the Comcast Center to see the Terps play Carolina, and will become the 100,000th person to attend a Maryland home game this season. According to the Terps' web site, this will be the first time Maryland has ever hit that remarkable attendance number. And, with three more home games still to be played after Sunday, including the sold-out game against Duke on Feb. 18, the record will be even higher when the final buzzer sounds on the regular season. As for that lucky fan number 100K on Sunday, what special prize does he or she get? Well, apparently . . . nothing, nada, zip, zero, zilch. C'mon now, Maryland, how about a kiss from Testudo at the very least?!
