Readers' Mailbag: Where Did Coach J Go? Today the BasketCases answer an email question we've received from astute readers who noticed the Terps' announcement on Tuesday of the hiring of Diane Richardson as an Assistant Coach to "take over the position for Joanna Bernabei," and are wondering What Happened to Coach J . . . particularly since she is no longer listed on Maryland's roster of coaches.

Well, the very wonderful news for Coach J and her husband, Joe (Daddy J), is that they have another little point guard on the way, a sibling for Luke who was born last fall. Joanna has decided to be a full time Coach Mom for the kids. If you saw the segment on "Under the Shell" about Coach J and Luke, you won't be surprised by this decision, and you'll also know how lucky these kids are. The BasketCases will miss Coach J, and we wish her and her growing family all the best!
