More Mystics All Stars!!!

Today the WNBA announced that both Lindsey Harding and Monique Currie have been added to the All Star Team roster!

Lindsey and Mo will take the place of injured players Lauren Jackson and Sancho Lyttle.

While we're sorry that LJ and Sancho won't be able to play, we are very happy that Lindsey and Mo will have this opportunity. In the BCs' opinion, they've both performed at an all-star level throughout the first half of the season, and have earned this honor.

And despite the fact that Lindsey and Mo are "replacements," we wouldn't be at all surprised to see both of them get significant playing time. The first thought that came to mind when we looked at the original All Star roster was: "THIS TEAM NEEDS GUARDS!"

And now (thanks to the addition of two more Mystics) . . . the All Star team has more of them. Yay!

Congratulations to Lindsey and to Mo . . . and good luck to all three Mystics in the USA vs All Stars game.

You can catch all the action Saturday at 3:30 PM on ESPN. Don't miss it!

Congrats to both Lindsey and Mo!

on a side note: I just can not believe coach geno picked renee montgomery for the USA team. Look at her stats (assists per game, turnovers, efficiency rating, points) vs LHarding, TJohnson, LWhalen. All are better point guards!!!!!!

RMontgomery just DOES NOT belong on team USA. Without the coach/player relationship, she doesn't get picked. It's not right.

Right on about Montgomery. Harding is hands down a better pc at this point. Whalen also. Ridiculous. Happy to see linds will be playing on sat. Well deserved!

How excited am I to see Harding play on a Brian Agler coached team? And good to see Auriemma and Meadors getting some well deserved scorn for choosing based on things besides "best available player".

God help me, i'm going to have to root for a team with Becky Hammon on it. Only for Lindsey, Lang, and Mo.

Becky Hammon won't play because of injury, so Anon doesn't have to worry.

Let's hope our Lang, Mo and Lindsey do well and stay healthy!
