New-New Season! Tonight at 8PM EST, Ashley ("New-New") Newman returns home to Tennessee as the 2006 National Champions kick off their 2006-07 season on the road at Middle Tennessee State. Although the Terps are the clear favorites, the Blue Raiders should not be taken lightly . . . According to Graham Hays of ESPN.com ". . . when the Terps travel to Middle Tennessee State on Nov. 10, the best player on the court just might be wearing the other uniform." Hays thinks that 5'11" senior guard, Chrissy Givens, may be the best kept secret in women's college basketball.

Middle Tennessee is expecting a record crowd for tonight's game. But some of the crowd should be wearing Red and Black. Ashley will have plenty of family and friends in the stands in Murfreesboro, but she won't be the only Terrapin with a personal cheering section --- Jade Perry's mother, Gwen Perry, sent word via the Maryland Rebounders that 2 busloads of fans will be coming from Central City, Kentucky.
