"Welcome to Israel!"
That was the greeting given to guests arriving at the Israeli Embassy in Washington this evening for a reception honoring the Mystics and Anda Ramat Hasharon ("ARH"), the Israeli professional team the Mystics will be playing this Sunday. This will be the first time that a WNBA team has played a foreign team, and the visitors were extremely excited to be here for this history-making event.

Rachel Ostrowitz, Chairperson of ARH, delivered a warm and interesting speech about the importance of women's sports and how events like these are truly creating a global village.

Hey Basketcases...Was that Limor Mizrachi on the ARH team, in the third third photo you posted (the one featuring C Melvin)? She's a former UM player from a great 91-92 team.
great pictures! Thanks.Shalom.
I am Nili! I had the great honor and pleasure to attend the gala reception at the Israeli Embassy on Thursday evening. Indeed it was an evening to remember! Especially Ms. Ostrowitz's speech. She delivered it with great elan, a good sense of humor. Her eye contract and connection with the people attending which indcluded many dignetaries was stellar. Bravo I say! Bravo! Next year in Jerusalem!!
A wonderful occasion to see two great teams at play. Especially I'm looking forward to Anda Ramat Hasharon. They are a formidable team. I have seen the team play before. Fit and strong! Go Anda Go!! I predict they will win the exhibition game!
